Fun Fact: Artery looks like a heart with the blood pumping all around it, which is how I came to the title. If you are hearing an abnormal sound, that may be due to a heart murmur. The coronary arteries transport oxygen-rich blood directly to the heart all of the time under normal conditions. These arteries wrap around the entire heart and are broken down to two main branches – the left coronary artery (LCA) and right coronary artery (RCA). If you live to be 80 years old, your heart would have lub-dubbed around 3.4 billion times. People who visit my studio often respond to the intense pink of this painting.
