Fun Fact: The Great Blue Hole is a unique gigantic marine sinkhole near the coast of Belize. The hole is shaped in almost a perfect circle, and measures about 1000 feet across and about 400 feet deep. Jacques Cousteau classified it as one of the top five scuba diving sites in the world. The water is crystal clear and there are many species of fish, which makes it a popular diving tourist spot.
