Fun Fact: In the Old Norse written corpus, Berserker were those who fought in a trance-like fury according the Old Norse writings. This characteristic later gave rise to the modern English word berserk (meaning “furiously violent or out of control”). It’s also a popular anime series featuring the character Griffith.
