Shrike is an original abstract painting on canvas by visual artist Shawn McNulty. This painting is is 1.5″ deep, gallery wrapped with painted edges, and ready to hang with wire on the back.
Fun Fact: Archex, formerly known as CD-0922 or Captain Cardinal, was a stormtrooper who held the military rank of Captain in the First Order. I had no idea this was a character from Star Wars when I titled the painting. I see a cardinal bird cruising along in a tractor or some kind of vehicle. The composition happened spontaneously as always. I completed the black circle by adding the lower portion to make it look more like a wheel.
