Fun Fact: The definition of crescendo is “the loudest point reached in a gradually increasing sound.” This painting reminds me of the visual of an audio program showing the peak amplitude of a sound. I have returned to working on board after a long period of only working on canvas. The result is sharper lines and edges compared to the soft edges of my previous work. There is a Rothko influence. One might describe it as a noisy Rothko. This light blue painting would be the perfect addition to a mid century mod wall art decor.
