Finback is an original green and blue abstract painting diptych on canvas by visual artist Shawn McNulty.

Fun Fact: Finback is a commission I completed for a collector in 2015. This painting falls in line with similar marine life themed works from this era such as Porpoise and Orca. This painting really exemplifies how a little bit of red can go a long way. The Finback Whale is the world’s second-largest living animal and can grow up to 70 feet in length and weigh 70 tons. Despite this large size, they can still travel up to 35 mph, which is why they are known as the greyhound of the sea.
