Tail Fin is an original abstract painting on canvas by visual artist Shawn McNulty. This painting is is 1.5″ deep, gallery wrapped with painted edges, and ready to hang with wire on the back.

Fun Fact: Tail fin is a companion piece with Nautilus and they were completed at the same time. The initial layer of black started to hint at a giant tail of a whale. I nurtured that form as I continued the various layers of orange, which really pop in this painting. The tail fin is also known as the caudal fin which functions primarily to propel the animal.
