Midway is an original abstract painting on canvas by visual artist Shawn McNulty. This painting is is 1.5″ deep, gallery wrapped with painted edges, and ready to hang with wire on the back.

Fun Fact: Midway, along with Cosgrove, was completed in one day. I participated in a live painting demo (9am-9pm!!) at the Minnesota State Fair in the fine arts building. They invite a different artist every day of the fair to participate in their Studio Here activity. It was an interesting experience since I usually do one session per day. I wait until the next studio day to complete another session. For this demo, I had to stop and allow the paint to dry for about 30 to 60 minutes in between each session. Midway refers to part of a fair that has the carnival feel with amusements and rides. Check out my time lapse of the creation of these pieces which are in a private collection in San Francisco. This painting was part of my Elixir exhibition at Rosalux Gallery.
