Fun Fact: Romulus and Remus are twin brothers whose story tells the events that led to the founding of Rome. The killing of Remus by his brother, known as fratricide, has inspired artists throughout the ages. The Capitoline Wolf with Romulus and Remus statue is located in front of historic City Hall in downtown Rome. This painting was a commission for a collector in Italy.
