Brigantine is an original abstract painting on canvas by visual artist Shawn McNulty. This painting is is 1.5″ deep, gallery wrapped with painted edges, and ready to hang with wire on the back.

Fun Fact: The character within the black horizontal band looks like an old wooden ship, which is how I came to the title. A brigantine is a two-masted sailing ship with at least two sails on the main mast. The Mary Celeste was a mysterious brigantine ghost ship which was found drifting without any crew on board in 1872. This painting was part of my Elixir exhibition at Rosalux Gallery.
