My painting Pepper received the Award of Excellence at the members juried show at the Hopkins Center for the Arts. The exhibition takes place during the month of October 2017 in the Redepenning Gallery, and the jurors were Ta-coumba Aiken, Steve Ozone, and Chholing Taha. Pepper was also featured in Citypages for the Rosalux Gallery 15 year anniversary show back in May 2017. I’ve always been a fan of black and red. If you’re familiar with Air Jordans and sneakerhead slang, they call that colorway “bred.”
